What is PRAP IBC training?

The PRAP IBC (Physical Activity Risk Prevention - Industry, Building, Commerce) training is a 14-hour certification recognised by the INRS that prepares participants to become prevention stakeholders. This programme equips you to identify the risks of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in your work environment and propose concrete solutions for improvement. Unlike generic training, this certification is specialised for the industrial, building, and commerce sectors, with practical case studies adapted to your on-site reality.

Why follow this course?

Musculoskeletal disorders are the leading cause of absence from work in France and Luxembourg. Becoming an active participant in prevention allows your company to reduce accidents and absenteeism. This programme meets the legal obligations imposed by the ITM (Labour and Mines Inspectorate) in Luxembourg. Each participant receives a certification valid for 24 months, recognised by the’National Institute for Research and Safety (INRS).

Practical content of the programme

The training covers three essential modules: understanding the challenges of prevention and the mechanisms of the human body, observing and analysing work situations to identify real dangers, and then acting by proposing realistic and sustainable improvement actions. The programme includes case studies, videos, real-life situation analyses, and practical work in the field or in simulations.

Certification and professional recognition

Upon completion of this training, you will receive an official INRS certificate valid for 24 months. This certification is recognised by all employers in the industrial, construction, and retail sectors. You will become a key player in preventing MSDs within your company, capable of conducting simple audits and communicating identified risks. Consult the resources of the’European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) to understand the importance of this prevention in Europe.
